Georgia man faces DUI charges

A 23-year-old man is in police custody following an altercation with officers who say he was driving drunk. The man was arrested the night of Dec. 26 after a serious two-vehicle crash on U.S. 27 in Georgia. The man has since been released on bail, but his court appearance to face his DUI charges should be upcoming.

2 injured in Georgia; DUI charges filed

Two people were hurt following a crash police believe was caused by a drunk driver, according to local sources. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the accident on the afternoon of Dec. 15 in Gainesville. One of the two drivers involved now faces DUI charges in connection with the crash. 

Man arrested for shoplifting now faces drug charges

Police have apprehended a man they believe to be guilty of shoplifting as well as drug possession. Georgia police say they arrested the 55-year-old man on Dec. 9. He now faces shoplifting and drug charges, and he is currently being held in custody in advance of a trial date. No date has been publicly announced at this time. 

Georgia football player faces DUI charges

Two football players were arrested by Barrow County sheriff's deputies, according to local news sources. Georgia authorities arrested the driver and his passenger, both of whom face several misdemeanor charges. The driver in particular is facing DUI charges that could negatively affect his career moving forward.
