Woman in Georgia faces DUI charges

A woman from Canton who is accused of causing a 2017 crash that killed a 21-year-old man is being indicted on several charges. Georgia authorities in Cherokee County filed vehicular homicide and DUI charges against the woman for her alleged role in this tragedy. She was scheduled for arraignment on March 7 in Cherokee County. 

Georgia police officer faces drug charges

A police officer in Hogansville could face the end of his professional career in law enforcement depending on the outcome of an investigation into his activities. The Georgia officer is facing drug charges after he was allegedly caught selling drugs. The officer has resigned from his current posting, but the investigation is still underway as of this report. 

Georgia woman faces DUI charges

A woman in Coweta County is facing serious charges after she allegedly crashed into police vehicles during a chase. The 24-year-old woman is facing DUI charges for allegedly driving while using drugs. She is currently being held by Georgia authorities without bond in advance of a trial date, which has not yet been set. 

Georgia police officer faces DUI charges

A police officer in Fairmont has been fired after being charged with drunk driving, according to local sources. Georgia police were placed in the unfortunate position of arresting one of their own back in January for suspected drunk driving. The officer was subsequently fired and now faces DUI charges.
